Emma Stone, BSW
Master's Practicum Trainee
Emma is an MSW Trainee at TheraQ, where she is passionate about creating a supportive and empowering space for individuals and families to heal and thrive. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with a minor in Psychology from Northern Arizona University in May 2024 and is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work degree through Northern Arizona University, with plans to graduate in May 2025. Emma also holds a Global Competency Certificate from a study abroad program in Italy, where she engaged in reflective work with diverse populations and explored personal and professional biases to enhance her cultural competence.
Emma’s therapeutic approach is deeply collaborative, rooted in self-determination and a belief in clients’ abilities to chart their own paths to healing. Emma has experience providing social-emotional support to diverse populations, including children, teens, and families, and has worked extensively with individuals navigating sexual trauma and family-related challenges. Her approach is rooted in creating a safe and inclusive space for clients to explore and heal from life’s complexities.
Dedicated to helping clients build resilience and achieve their aspirations, Emma brings empathy, curiosity, and a genuine commitment to every therapeutic relationship. She is inspired by the transformative power of mental health work and strives to be a consistent source of guidance and encouragement for those she serves
In addition to her clinical experience, Emma earned a Global Competency Certificate, enhancing her ability to connect with people from various backgrounds. She is supervised by Dr. Katie Moore, PsyD (PSY# 32941), and offers affordable therapy services to ensure access to high-quality care.
