Jaclyn Jones, APCC (She/Her)
Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (#23699)
Jaclyn is a therapist who provides telehealth services for adults ages 20 and older. She earned her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and her Bachelor’s in Anthropology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
Her background in anthropology and lifelong curiosity about people shape her approach to therapy. Rather than making assumptions or taking people at face value, Jaclyn is naturally curious about each person’s culture, upbringing, family dynamics, values, strengths, motivations, and unique way of experiencing the world. She has experience supporting individuals navigating trauma, depression, grief, attachment concerns, relationship challenges, life transitions, emotional regulation, self-esteem, identity development, and health-related stressors. Much of her clinical experience thus far has been working with neurodivergent adults, as well as men in their 20s to 40s who wish to develop healthier relationships, stronger communication, greater self-awareness, and increased personal responsibility.
Jaclyn’s approach emphasizes self-exploration over pathology, helping clients better understand how their minds work, recognize patterns that contribute to burnout or distress, and develop strategies that align with their strengths rather than masking who they are. Jaclyn believes meaningful therapy always includes both humility and making sure clients always feel that their inner worlds matter and that they are never a burden. She considers it both an honor and a privilege to walk alongside clients during part of their journey, however long that may be, and is passionate about helping people more fully accept themselves, unleash their inner genius, and feel genuinely proud of the lives they are living and creating. Jaclyn plans to continue expanding her trauma training with EMDR and parts work, including Internal Family Systems (IFS).
She is supervised by Dr. Katie Moore, PsyD (PSY# 32941).
Hourly Sliding Scale Rate: $120 - $150 per hour.
Jaclyn is currently seeing clients virtually.
