Master's Practicum Trainee
Jaclyn is an MFT Trainee at TheraQ, where she is dedicated to creating a warm, collaborative space where clients feel truly heard and supported. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Pepperdine University.
Jaclyn supports individuals navigating life’s challenges, including trauma, depression, anxiety, men’s issues, life transitions, and self-esteem struggles. She helps clients develop healthier communication patterns and increase their emotional awareness, empowering them to build stronger relationships and deepen their understanding of themselves.
Trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Jaclyn integrates evidence-based practices with psychodynamic insight and mindfulness techniques. Her approach blends curiosity and adaptability, exploring the roots of emotional pain while fostering growth and healing through practical, compassionate strategies.
Jaclyn believes in the power of genuine connection and open communication in therapy. She encourages clients to share their honest thoughts and feelings about the process, creating a partnership that supports meaningful change. With a calm, friendly presence, she provides a safe, welcoming environment where clients can explore their inner worlds and work toward the lives they envision.
Inspired by her own transformative therapy experience, Jaclyn is committed to helping others discover their strengths and develop practical tools to navigate life’s complexities.
She is supervised by Dr. Katie Moore, PsyD (PSY# 32941), and offers affordable therapy services to ensure that high-quality care is accessible to all.
Jaclyn offers a sliding scale starting at $20 per session, in addition to the insurances listed below, and is currently seeing clients virtually.
